An MCSE is a Microsoft certified technical resource person who will setup Microsoft Networks, Troubleshoot and maintain them and be responsible for providing on-going support for existing Network. He will also be involved in migration of existing Novell Networks to NT/Integrate such Networks with newly installed NT networks. He will be proficient enough to design and implement Enterprise solutions for the business’s requirements for Internet, Intranet, Remote Access, Proxy services for Faxing etc.

A Certified MCSE is responsible for Monitoring and Tuning Network Performance, Setting up and Maintaining Network Security and updating Networks with the revisions released by Microsoft in the shape of service packs.

The program involves completing 5 core courses and 2 optional courses and passing the appropriate examinations in all of them before the MCSE status is granted to the candidate.
